Cristie Richards joined Zions Bank in 2000 and is responsible for the sales and service of Zions Bank�s network of 127 financial centers throughout Utah and Idaho.� She also oversees the Diverse Markets initiatives and Bankcard sales.� �In addition, she directs the Zions Bank at Work, Client Services Group and Personal Banker programs.Prior to Zions Bank, Cristie held various senior management positions at Westgate Corporation in Japan, a Japanese-owned financial company.� She worked there for seven years and thoroughly enjoyed the culture and the adventure.Active in community and industry affairs, Cristie has served as the chairman of the Utah Banker�s Association Retail Banking Committee, American Heart Association Heart Walk, chairman of the Workforce Development Committee for the Salt Lake Camber and United Way�s Giving Campaign for Zions Bank.� She currently serves as secretary on the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company board of directors and as a member of the Utah Jump$tart Coalition board of directors.� She is a founding member of the Women�s Philanthropic Network, and a member of the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy.Cristie is active in promoting financial literacy, with an emphasis on budgeting.�� She was selected as a budgeting mentor for a family as part of KSL-TV�s �Imagine a Happier You� program in 2010.� She has conducted budgeting workshops at various conferences, including Senator Hatch�s Senior Conference and the Idaho Smart Women Smart Money Conference.� She has had numerous appearances on KSL TV and radio, ABC 4 Good Things Utah, Fox 13�s Big Buddah show, and Zions Direct.In 2010 Cristie was recognized by Utah Business magazine as one of its 30 Women to Watch.� In 2009, 2011 and 2013 she was among senior-level Zions Bank women recognized by American Banker magazine as one of the nation�s Top Banking Teams.Cristie received a bachelor�s degree in international finance and Japanese and a master�s degree in organizational behavior from Brigham Young University. �She is also a graduate of the PacificCoastBankingSchool.Cristie enjoys ikebana, travel, art, running and spending time with family and friends.�
