Rebecca Mairone is Default Servicing executive for Bank of America Home Loans, one of the world’s leading financial services companies and the nation’s leading mortgage servicer with a $2 trillion servicing portfolio representing nearly 14 million customers nationwide. In this role, Mairone oversees the Default Servicing division, which is responsible for home retention, workouts, foreclosure and bankruptcy, collections, as well as short sales and real estate owned. Prior to this role, Mairone served in various leadership positions at Bank of America. Most recently she led Mortgage Servicing and previously led Bank of America Home Loans centralized mortgage sales organization. She also served in operations roles, overseeing fulfillment operations, technology, lead distribution and call center management. Prior to joining the bank, Mairone managed the central sales mortgage organization for JP Morgan Chase, held several positions at Cendant Mortgage, and spent eight years in the industrial chemical and manufacturing industry. In addition, Mairone is an executive sponsor for Leadership, Education, Advocacy and Development (LEAD) for Women, a network dedicated to promoting professional women's development to help grow, attract and retain successful women throughout Bank of America. Mairone earned her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, and her M.B.A. from Villanova University, both in Philadelphia PA. She and her family are actively involved in the Los Angeles Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, whose mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
