Dana Enger is a Scouting Manager in Labs @ State Farm. She is in her 16th year with the company and has diverse experience, both inside and outside State Farm. She has worked in corporate finance, strategic planning, banking, and innovation roles. As a Scouting Manager, Dana travels the country meeting with founders and teams who are building early stage companies and offering solutions that may accelerate the pace of State Farm’s innovation efforts. She also works with the State Farm Ventures team to identify early stage companies that are well-aligned for strategic investment. Dana spent part of her career as an executive administrator at Western Illinois University leading the financial, risk management, and emergency planning divisions. She has earned a bachelor of business in finance from Western Illinois University, a master of business administration from the University of Iowa, and several professional designations in insurance and financial services.
