Indiana Insurance Receives IIAI Award

Pewaukee , Wis. - Indiana Insurance, a member of Liberty Mutual Group, has been named the 2007 Company of the Year by the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana (IIAI), an honor that Indiana Insurance also received in 2006.

The IIAI Company of the Year award recognizes companies that most demonstrate a strong commitment to the independent agency system in Indiana . The top honor was presented to Joseph Yeager, Indiana Insurance regional vice president, during the 109th annual convention of Indiana’s Big I members held recently in Indianapolis.

“Receiving this award again underscores the promise we keep to help our agents build their businesses successfully through strong relationships,” said Yeager. “By delivering greater efficiency, ease-of-doing business, and consistent, local decision-making, we are helping them better serve their customers and grow profitably.”

“Winning Company of the Year two years straight is a testament to Indiana Insurance’s commitment to delivering value added services and programs to its appointed agents,” said Roger Ronk, executive vice president, Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana. “When the largest independent agency writer in Indiana is also a consistent leader in maintaining strong agency relationships, it’s a good indication of the independent agency system’s strength here in Indiana .”

Judges choose Company of the Year recipients based on their excellence in the following areas: commitment to growth in Indiana , uniqueness of products and services, value added services and program for agencies, strength in long-term marketing plans for Indiana , and quality of staff in Indiana .
