KC Life deploys new document management system

Kansas City Life Insurance Company has deployed Xpertdoc’s CCM platform to upgrade its legacy document systems, the companies announced.

Xpertdoc’s software automates customer communications, including the creation, management and delivery of documents to improve workflow and increase customer engagement while reducing costs, according to the companies.

Traditionally, KC Life had used multiple legacy document systems, but opted to modernize operations with Xpertdoc to satisfy its growing client base, it said. The insurer was looking for an advanced, highly secure omnichannel experience to serve more than half a million policyholders in 49 states and the District of Columbia.

“We selected Xpertdoc because they provided the best combination of modern, scalable technology that can grow with us,” said Steve Ropp, SVP of operations at Kansas City Life, in a statement. “Their team demonstrated the highest level of commitment throughout our entire review process and was diligent and effective during implementation, ensuring a smooth transition.”
