The new services eliminate the need for manual client renaming, reduce costly downtime (in some cases by more than 50%), enable dual or multiple merges to occur simultaneously, and provide filtering options that produce a cleaner database.

CYBER NEEDS ANALYSIS

The Chubb Group of Insurance Cos., Warren, N.J., has prepared a Cyber Risks Needs Analysis guide for financial institutions. CLAIMS AUTOMATION

Insurance Services Office Inc. (ISO), Jersey City, N.J., has enhanced its Claims Outcome Advisor (COA) to provide the industry's first XML-enabled personal injury claims management solution. COA now integrates directly with third-party systems, such as insurers' in-house claims administration databases, and with claims management workflow systems. COA's new workflow capabilities enable claim handlers to populate their task lists with timed actions, such as checking on a certain day if a claim offer has been accepted by a claimant's solicitor.

WEB-BASED marketing tool

New York-based G2X Inc. released Agility:Marketing, a Web-based marketing automation module, which is part of its Agility:Insurance CRM suite. Agility:Marketing plugs into the Agility Web platform, providing integrated marketing and sales force automation. With Agility:Insurance's contact profiles and advanced querying capabilities, Agility:Marketing can identify prospects for cross-selling and up-selling, and opportunities for brand-image messaging through various distribution channels.

idNET Inc., the Simsbury, Conn.-based developer of CSR24, a 24/7 customer-care solution for the insurance industry, is offering CSR24 Carrier Connection Services. These new services connect carriers' online self-service functions with agency self-service functions available through CSR24. The CSR24 Internet module provides a menu of services for policyholders including policy view, change request, and printing capabilities for insurance documents such as auto ID cards and certificates of insurance. With CSR24 Carrier Connection Services, CSR24 recognizes a partner company's policyholder and displays additional screen options for accessing specialized carrier Web services such as billing and claims status.

ONLINE REINSURANCE PRODUCT

Inreon Ltd., a London-based Internet reinsurance trading platform, has launched an online product to help reinsurance buyers purchase facultative liability coverage from a panel of blue chip reinsurers. The inreon liability product consists of standard general liability and products liability together with a range of possible extensions and sub-limits for territories where these may be required. Employers' liability, product guarantee, product recall, pure financial loss and loss of use may all be added to the basic product. It is currently available in Europe, the United States, Korea and Taiwan.

PATRIOT ACT COMPLIANCE

Acxiom Corp., Little Rock, Ark., introduced Acxiom PATRIOT Act Solutions, a set of technologies to help financial services companies comply with stringent new regulations under the USA PATRIOT Act (Section 326) designed to fight terrorism. The solutions incorporate Sentricx, Acxiom's new data-driven identity-verification product. Sentricx is currently used by financial institutions and insurance companies to prvent identity and application fraud.
