New York Life Earns Spot at Million Dollar Round Table for 55th Year

New York Life Insurance Co. continues to dominate the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) in the United States, according to reports.  With 2,013 New York Life agents, the insurer reports its position in the group for the fifty-fifth consecutive year.

Founded in 1927, MDRT is an international, independent association more than 31,000 of the world’s life insurance and financial services professionals from 83 nations and territories, representing over 450 companies.

MDRT granted memberships to 11,253 agents in the United States making membership in this organization a distinguishing life insurance career milestone, attained by less than 1% of the world’s financial services professionals who have demonstrated superior professional knowledge, experience and client service.

New York Life has more female MDRT members than any other company in the United States, representing 26% of all MDRT’s United States female members.

In 2009, New York Life International, LLC, the overseas arm of New York Life, ranked among the leading MDRT companies globally with 661 MDRT members from its operations in Argentina, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, South Korea, China, Taiwan and Thailand.
