The Hartford taps Cape Analytics for home data

The Hartford, property and casualty insurer, has partnered with with Cape Analytics to provide AI and geospatial imagery for property intelligence. The new partnership will allow predictive, comprehensive, and AI-based property information for better quoting, renewals and home inspections.

Ben Rhodes, head of homeowners’ product for The Hartford, shared “We continue to invest in technology that helps streamline our processes and improve our customer service.”

The Hartford expects more accurate home inspections as a result of the new capabilities.Rhodes explains, “The modern capabilities and data provided by Cape Analytics helps provide additional insights about a home [compared to we had before], such as roof condition, shape and material, which helps enhance the evaluation of the risks we insure.”

Ryan Kottenstette, CEO at Cape Analytics states, ““The Hartford has been a tremendous partner for us as they lean into the use of our innovative data sources.” Kottenstette continue to say, “We look forward to deepening our relationship with The Hartford’s outstanding team as we continue to work hand-in-hand on extending our real-time intelligence solutions.”

Other Cape Analytics partners include CSAA, which inked a deal with the insurtech on July 24.
