Customers are largely satisfied with their auto insurance providers, a new survey from Chicago-based marketing competitive intelligence provider Mintel Comperemedia finds.

The study reveals that one in two people (50%) have been with their current auto insurance provider for more than five years, while another 21% have a two- to five-year history. Moreover, when asked whether they'd recommend their current auto insurer to friends and family, 49% survey respondents said they definitely would and 31% said they'd probably would.
