Allstate's GoodRide app for motorcycle enthusiasts isn't new to the market, but the company recently announced Apple Watch functionality. Why Riders gain "an easy-to-use start/stop feature, so it's easier than ever to log a ride from the road," the company said. To promote the app -- and motorcycle safety -- Allstate will send a motorcyclist on a 50-state tour wearing an Apple Watch with the GoodRide app installed.

Humana's Cue was made available for the first time when the Apple Watch was released. It prompts users to take small health-related actions like drinking water, focusing on breathing or posture, or stretching. The user can control the frequency of the notifications and can permit the app to access the iPhone’s motion tracking sensor to not send unnecessary notifications to move.
