Allianz partners with Bolttech; Lyft and Mobilitas renew partnership: Insurtech news

Mobilitas Insurance Companies, a commercial insurer, has extended its ridesharing commercial insurance coverage with Lyft. The partnership originated in 2020 and coverage is available in 23 states. "Lyft is focused on being customer centric and ensuring that drivers and riders are covered when taking a Lyft," said Max Feldman, Lyft's vice president of risk, in a statement. "Mobilitas offers innovative insurance protection and data-driven claims handling that is tailored to address our unique business needs."
Allianz is partnering with Bolttech, an insurtech, to provide embedded solutions for retailers of electronic products and household devices. Aon launches a franchise program in North America using CoverWallet technology. The insurance coverage is customizable for franchise businesses and provides real-time insight on risk and compliance. "Managing insurance for franchisors and franchisees is not always simple and straightforward, especially for multi-unit operators. Aon's Franchise Solutions Program provides a unique experience that simplifies their insurance management journey, helps protect businesses from unknown risks and helps franchise networks function seamlessly," said Andreea Stefanescu, head of North America partnerships for Aon's digital client solutions, in a statement.
Betterview, an insurtech, is partnering with Near Space Labs, geospatial data and imagery company, to integrate its imagery into the Betterview Property Intelligence Platform. "Our imagery is refreshed every 90 days, giving insurers unbeatable recency. And if they need us to fly over a specific location to capture additional images, we've got them covered," said Matthew Tucker, vice president of sales at Near Space Labs, in a statement. "Together, Betterview and Near Space Labs are improving insurers' overall view of risk by removing blind spots from underwriting and claims."
CCC launches the next generation of its artificial intelligence photo analysis tools. The new offerings include CCC First Look, for claims handlers to validate photos and triage claims, as well as CCC Impact Dynamics, which applies AI to photos of vehicle damage to predict severity. "The underlying facts of the accident are the basis for effective claims management," said John Goodson, chief product and technology officer for CCC, in a statement. "With our new photo AI capabilities, CCC can help carriers know more sooner, ushering in a new, more intelligent claims process from the start. First Look and Impact Dynamics are just the beginning of CCC's next generation offering designed to transform consumer experiences and optimize business outcomes for our customers."
