Diverse in the roles they play, the contributions they have made and the lines of business that their companies pursue, this year’s winners nonetheless share a laser-like focus on sustainable growth and profitability—achieved in large measure through technology innovation. In addition, her team is helping pilot XL’s new Microsoft Dynamics-based CRM solution. This tool enables more efficient and enhanced client relationship interactions, pipeline management and the ability to identify more cross and up-sell opportunities across XL’s business units. In her own words: “Analytics is helping everyone do everything better—from pricing policies to choosing which business you really want to take. So everyone has to figure out how to better leverage all the data we can collect now on economic conditions, crime rates, weather patterns and the other factors that can impact risk.”
