TJ Parks

TJ Parks, Senior Director with Treliant Risk Advisors, has extensive experience creating and implementing risk-based privacy and security programs related to data within in business processes and information technology platforms, as well as managing risks arising from relationships with third parties. Prior to joining Treliant, Mr. Parks was a Director in the Privacy and Data Protection practice at Promontory Financial Group. He was responsible for leading teams in the execution of privacy, data protection, and information risk engagements for national and multinational organizations. Mr. Parks was also a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services practice, where he focused on developing new service offerings related to data privacy and information protection, and assisting clients with their global privacy, security, and risk management programs. Mr. Parks earlier served as Senior Privacy manager for Microsoft’s North American Sales & Marketing subsidiary, where he developed enhancements to protect customer and partner privacy information, and advised the business on compliance with laws, regulations, and requirements governing data use.
