It's available in five North Carolina markets. The plan covers breakdowns and maintenance, with the technology platform powering a mobile app for scheduling, digital record of services and payments.
Aon has acquired Tyche, a technology platform for risk and capital modeling, the companies announced today. Terms were not disclosed. Aon will integrate the Tyche capabilities into its broader client dashboard. Nick Frankland, chairman of Aon's insurance consulting team, said in a statemet: "This innovative new offering, combined with our existing global capabilities, will help to bring significant value to Aon's re/insurer clients and deliver new software and consulting solutions to previously underserved markets."
Equifax is partnering with Truepic, provider of a digital inspection platform, to help Equifax customers in the property inspection process for origination, applications and claims. Truepic's platform focuses on verification of picture components including pixels, time, date, location and orientation, according to a release.
Cover Whale has partnered with Dreyev, another insurtech focusing on safe-driving alerts, to launch a new product, the companies announced. They aim to combine Cover Whale's existing driving analytics platform with Dreyev's driver alerts to encourage better driving. "Cover Whale's existing AI-driven technology and underwriting process have allowed us to thoroughly outperform industry benchmarks to date. We view this partnership with Dreyev as a catalyst into a world where our technology could prevent crashes before they happen, resulting in fewer lives lost and better pricing for our portfolio of safe drivers," said Dan Abrahamsen, CEO of Cover Whale, in a statement.
