Everest names Srini Maddineni, current SVP and Global CIO for insurance and reinsurance systems, as chief information officer. Maddineni will succeed Terry Walker, who will retire at the end of the first quarter. The Hanover Insurance Group hires David J. Lovely as executive vice president and chief claims officer. Lovely, who joins the company from PwC, will lead claims experience strategy. "David is an accomplished claims and insurance leader who brings more than 35 years of visionary leadership, operational execution and transformation expertise for enhancing employee and customer experiences," said John C. Church Mutual announces Alan S. Ogilvie as its new president. Ogilvie and current president and CEO, Rich Poirier, who will retain his position as CEO, will work together until January 2024. Tony Beal will lead Nationwide's National Partners team, a division responsible for managing distribution partner relationships. Chubb announces Margaret Peloso as senior vice president, Chubb Group and global climate officer and executive director of the Chubb Charitable Foundation. Peloso will be responsible for climate-related strategies. "Chubb is engaged in research and advocacy on climate issues, both internally and externally, through industry institutions and international organizations," said Joseph Wayland, executive vice president and general counsel, Chubb Group, in a statement.
