Agencies Go Paperless with Special Agent v3.3

Version 3.3 of Special Agent insurance agency management software was created to help independent agencies go paperless.

Special Agent says that with Version 3.3, virtually all electronic documents, including e-mails, spreadsheets, PDFs, pictures and scanned images, can be attached to customer records, allowing agencies to keep each customer’s records in one secure, easily accessible place. Instantly accessible electronic files are meant to help staff members provide better, prompter service as agencies discard paper files, save money and free up floor space.

“CSRs and agents can call up documents instantly instead of having to get up, go to the filing cabinet, pull the file and put it back later,” says Special Agent’s President Christopher Baker.

Version 3.3 is designed to support the latest ACORD forms for every line of business in every state; provide more real-time features and capabilities; and allow downloading for additional lines and additional carriers, such as The Hartford, Merchants Mutual and Progressive.

“We don’t need to buy third-party software,” says Jim Crowley, president of Holbrook Insurance Agency. “There’s a scanner on everyone’s desk, and we just scan the document and shred it.”

Special Agent says its software is used by more than 300 agencies throughout the Northeast, providing training, website services and prompt expert technical support.
