AgencyPort, a Sword Group company, has released the latest version of its Web portal, AgencyPortal v4.1. This newest version is designed to allow agents to request and endorse quotes in multiple windows simultaneously and process policy quoting, endorsement and claim entries in multiple languages. The first multilingual portal is set to launch in Spanish for a “large, global client,” though AgencyPort did not release the client’s name.
“While English remains the primary language for insurance markets, our clients needed to conduct business in the language and currency of their producers and policyholders,” said Mason Power, AgencyPort’s VP of Product and Market Strategy. “Compare this capability to the language options on your bank’s ATM cash machines where the user chooses the language, we’re helping insurance companies trade in multiple languages, both in the U.S. and abroad.
