In March 2024, the research division of Digital Insurance’s parent company, Arizent, surveyed business leaders across several industries including insurance, banking, accounting, mortgages, finance and wealth management. Insurance carriers, brokers and agents comprised 13% of the total responses and we share some of those insights with you here.


What insurance professionals think about the election

Overall, there is widespread dissatisfaction with the current political climate and those working in the insurance industry were no exception, with 78% saying they were very dissatisfied and 12% being somewhat dissatisfied. In the following charts, you can see who participated in the survey, how those working in the insurance industry responded compared to other industries, the impact of social media on the spread of election misinformation, and the priorities for the next administration.
