Bradley Bodell has been named SVP and CIO for CNO Financial Group Inc. The change will become effective July 15, when he will begin reporting to Bruce Baude, EVP, chief operations and technology officer.
"Brad is a proven leader who brings a business focus to technology solutions," Baude said. "He has a wealth of experience in strategy, application development, system architecture and offshore development. He's a problem-solver who has a keen understanding of the role of technology in the insurance industry. We are delighted to have him join our leadership team."
Previously Bodell was VP global technology and operations for MetLife. Since 2000, when he joined that company, he held technology leadership roles in U.S. broker operations, U.S. sales and service and Asia Pacific Operations. Prior he held roles in consulting at KPMG LLP and sales at IBM. He earned a B.S. in engineering at Northwestern University and his Masters of Management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
