Guidewire Expands International Profile with Two Clients

Two multi-line international insurers have selected Guidewire software for their non-life lines of business.

Poland's PZU has implemented Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Rating Management, Reinsurance Management, and Client Data Management as part of a massive business revamp.

The company has named the transformation process Everest, and in addition to new software PZU is implementing new processes and culture to support a growth agenda that aims to increase the number of agents by nearly 50%.

"The successful implementation of this project supports PZU in delivering high quality customer service, now and in the years to come,” said Andrzej Klesyk, chief executive officer, PZU. “We are delighted with what is a truly multi-channel, automated infrastructure."

Sompo, meanwhile, is at the outset of its transformation journey. It selected PolicyCenter and Rating Management with the goal of automating some of its commercial lines.

“Because the business flow between agents, business offices, and back-office operations will become more automated, seamless sharing of information with sales agencies will become possible," says  Osamu Fujino, general manager, Business Process Planning Department, Sompo Japan Nipponkoa.
