Two insurance software vendors have announced updates to their software.
Insurity has released version 2.0 of Insurance Enterprise View. The new version incorporates a reference data store for data management. In addition a new structured data integration framework expands the existing nonproprietary ACORD XML integration options to include optimized support for batch data from multiple sources.
Insurity's new version also includes a set of system administration and configuration tools (SAM Tools), including business rule configuration, transformation rule configuration, reference data management tools, and batch error correction.
For Insurance Technologies, version 2.7 of its FireLight e- application software incorporates a competitive term quoting tool that allows advisors to enter basic client information to generate multi-carrier, multi-product, comparative premium quotes to support a quick term life sales process.
The new version of FireLight also includes an application-wide branding and customization feature that enables users to re-label the entire user interface.
