SMA Publicizes its Insider Forum

Insurance advisory firm Strategy Meets Action (SMA) today announced availability of its SMA Insurer Forum. The Forum already includes more than 90 business and technology leaders who share a common interest in leveraging technology for business value and competitive differentiation.

The SMA Insurer Forum is intended to put members in the midst of discussions and research occurring at the intersection of business and technology. Forum members have the opportunity to validate perspectives and ideas through an exchange with peers, and insights representing different business areas, lines of business and company sizes.

SMA says its Insurer Forum members address pressing issues and opportunities in the insurance industry, including:

Peer Analysis - What are my peers doing? What are their key investment initiatives? How are they using technology for competitive advantage?

Possibilities - What is possible for IT? What are leading examples of successes? What are the obstacles and pitfalls?

Pathways - What does the typical roadmap look like? What are the solution options? What is the level of maturity across the industry?

Product Selection - Who offers key products and services? How do I determine who is best for my company?

"Insurers want to understand the competitive landscape regarding IT investment options, roadmaps and solution options, and understand where they are relative to their peers," says Deb Smallwood, SMA Founder. "Since we work closely with organizations across all segments of the insurance industry providing extensive research, strategic advisory services and deep experience in insurance subjects, SMA is in the unique position of being able to offer a complimentary forum to insurers."
