StoneRiver’s LifeSuite Enhanced With RIA, Selected by Amica Life

StoneRiver’s http://www.stoneriver.com LifeSuite product is built with an Adobe flex-based, rich internet application (RIA) interface, providing an adaptable user experience with tabbed access, user preferences and data filtering. With the ability to personalize screen appearances and data views, StoneRiver says clients experience efficient and consistent decision-making information flow.

In addition to many new features, the interface contains enhanced user controls of data filtering and sorting for ease, and analyzing case information for faster decision making. StoneRiver says companies also now can brand the system with their choices of colors, and the system can support multiple companies.

RIA is a layer designed to be not only aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but also to provide summary views of overall case actions, requirements and alerts with single-click access to the detail data underlying the summaries. The new screen order, tabbing and other navigational features enhance and support an underwriter’s daily workflow, says StoneRiver, adding that, with the new ability to have multiple cases open at one time, underwriters can multi-task across their entire assigned case loads.

Amica Life has selected LifeSuite for underwriting, extending the partnership with StoneRiver. With complete information at their fingertips, underwriters will respond more quickly, improving consistency and productivity, says StoneRiver. The rules-based engine in LifeSuite is fully configurable with the base system rules set augmented by client-specific rules. Whether auto-processing simplified issue products, or interpreting third-party data for complex products, LifeSuite is able to automate the evidence collection via ACORD-compliant connections. The system integrates with Microsoft Outlook for efficient field communications, and the LifeSuite Portal provides an agent view of cases going through the underwriting process.
