After a beta test in South Carolina last year, Allstate put the new Mobile Assessment Center to the test after recent hailstorms in Colorado.

Vehicles are driven in, and hail damage is assessed, in a matter of minutes. "The Mobile Assessment Center is going to elevate the way we take care of customers following a disaster," says Mark McGillivray, SVP of Allstate Claims.

The system then compiles the information and provides a detailed report which is used by adjusters to complete a claim. It's "an almost touchless process for evaluating damages, settling claims, and getting customers back on the road as quickly as possible," McGillivray adds.

The entire site is on wheels, allowing it to be deployed as needed around the country on demand.

Hundreds of photos are taken at a time, according to Allstate, exponentially faster than an adjuster could handle on their own.
