The insurance practice at Boston-based consultancy Celent, a member of the Oliver Wyman group, asked 163 insurers representing a mix of life, health and property/casualty lines of business to reveal how the financial crisis and recession of 2009 has affected their livelihoods. Data was collected in October 2009.
