The National Insurance Crime Bureau released data profiling hail loss claims over the past three years, from 2010-12. The data shows where and when claims are filed due to hail damage with the most frequency. In terms of when hail claims are most likely to happen, winter sees few, then the numbers ascend into the spring before slowly petering out through the summer. April sees the most hail claims of any month (160,206 on average), followed by May (138,188) and June (105,786).
