Chubb has entered a multi-year services agreement with IBM, under which the technology company will consolidate and integrate the company's IT infrastructure.
The companies said in an announcement of the agreement yesterday that the IT project was precipitated by ACE Limited's acquisition of Chubb last January. Chubb expects its IT infrastructure to be more agile, less expensive, and deliver better speed to market following the revamp.
Key aspects of this agreement include IBM Cloud offerings for the z Systems mainframe and development and test environments, as well as cloud storage to archive critical data long term, the companies add.

"We're committed to an IT environment that will enable us to adapt quickly to market changes and deliver an as-a-service model that will enable us to continue provide clients with the services they deserve."
