Insurance broker Lockton Companies has named Said Taiym executive vice president and chief digital officer. In his new role, Taiym will focus on digital innovation, specifically the advanced implementation of emerging technologies that will aid Lockton in delivering improved strategic risk solutions for clients, the company says. He will report directly to Ron Lockton, president and CEO.

Jesus Montano, MassMutual

Life insurer MassMutual has hired Jesus “Laz” Montano as head of enterprise information risk management and CISO. Montano reports to Mark Roellig, MassMutual’s chief technology and administration officer. He is tasked with directing a holistic risk management approach across the company, including managing operational and cyber security risks, ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are met, and safeguarding of MassMutual’s data and information.

Iván de la Sota, Allianz

Allianz has appointed Iván de la Sota chief business transformation officer. He took over his new role on April 1. De la Sota now leads new division at Allianz, which will support the company’s efforts in launching new business platforms and technologies that arise as a result of growing demand from consumers for a more complete digital experience. This includes enhancing existing business models, while introducing new ones, and offering a flexible combination of personal advice and digital services, the company says.

Shelia Anderson, Liberty Mutual

Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Shelia Anderson as senior vice president and chief information officer of corporate functions, a newly-created role. Anderson will report to Liberty Mutual’s VP and CIO James McGlennon, while focusing on core systems modernization and new products for Liberty’s policyholders. Anderson was most recently USAA’s vice president and CIO of P&C insurance. Other stops in her career include stints at HP, Electronic Data Systems and Hewlett Packard Enterprise in senior-level technology roles.
