Chubb appointed Mark Homan its new division president, international property and casualty, for overseas general insurance. He currently serves as the COO of the division. In the new role, Homan will lead the international commercial property and casualty insurance business. The company also recently announced that Adam Mason, who has about 30 years of industry experience, will be the executive vice president, casualty for overseas general insurance. Mason will report to Homan.
The Hartford Mutual Insurance Group has announced Jeffrey Bischoff as its assistant vice president of information technology. In the role, he will oversee the IT department and develop an IT strategy for the company. He was previously the technology solution manager in the policy platform department at American Family Insurance Group.
Lincoln Financial Group announced Andrew Rallis as its executive vice president, chief risk officer. Rallis will oversee risk across the company including product and insurance risk. He was most recently the executive vice president, global chief actuary at MetLife and has about 40 years of experience in insurance risk management leadership.
Spot Insurance announced a new CEO, Maria Goy, who is a co-founder and the former COO. The decision was made unanimously by Spot's board of directors and the current CEO and co-founder, Matt Randall. Goy has plans to expand the company into the travel industry and events market.
The Standard names Dave Friesen as its second vice president of enterprise data and analytics. Friesen joined the company in 2012 as a director of IT business relations and then later IT's solution delivery organization as a senior director. In the new role, he will lead data engineering, advanced analytics, data governance, business intelligence and business integration operations functions.
