AIG Benefit Solutions, the group benefits unit of American International Group (AIG), has licensed Wynsure as its policy administration, billing and customer service system. Wynsure software is owned and developed by the international technology vendor MphasiS Wyde.
According to the insurer, the Wynsure system will handle its underwriting and end-to-end administration processes. An advanced portal will offer self-service functions for producers, employers, employees and employee benefits administrators. Wynsure’s out-of-the box functions and tools will support AIG Benefit Solutions’ aggressive implementation schedule.
The system will provide extensive functionality for a wide range of products and services, including core and voluntary group life, accidental death and dismemberment along with business travel accident, short- and long-term disability, and worksite products such as accident and critical illness insurance.
