(CSC) on an enterprise-wide integration program to assist healthcare payers and providers in meeting federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) mandates. As a part of the alliance, CSC will incorporate SeeBeyond's technology in its enterprise application integration (EAI) offerings.Esurance Inc., a quote-to-claims provider of personal auto insurance on the Internet, is now providing instant online auto insurance quotes to consumers in 26 states via ebix.com. San Francisco-based Esurance is the first carrier on the insurance portal to provide real-time binding of its policies purchased on the site.
The recent merger between Allenbrook, a Lowell, Mass.-based firm known for the Phoenix policy administration system and VIC Corp., Bath, Maine, will provide Allenbrook customers with the front-end interface of VIC (visual Internet connection) to the back-end Phoenix system.
