Allianz Insurance plc, a general insurer in the United Kingdom, is now using Guidewire's ClaimCenter to supplement its claims management systems. Allianz chose the system to help achieve better visibility into claims operations, improve data analytics and reporting capabilities and standardize claims handling processes, Guidewire said.
"We have a major opportunity to make a positive impression on our customers depending on how well we handle their claims,” said Graham Gibson, claims director, Allianz Insurance plc. “Guidewire ClaimCenter will help us expand this capability and complement our existing systems.”
Guidewire describes ClaimCenter as a claims management system designed for P&C insurers, which includes business rules intended to enable insurers to refine claim handling practices, and monitor and optimize claim processes. The application is used by insurers of all sizes and across all product lines, Guidewire said, to help improve speed and accuracy, reduce loss adjustment expense and enable claims management. It is available as a standalone system or as part of Guidewire’s InsuranceSuite.
