Allstate Aggressively Seeks Agents to Open 40 Offices

Allstate Insurance Co. has launched an aggressive recruitment campaign to hire 40 new agency owners across Indiana by the end of 2011.

The insurer is targeting professionals for a career as an Allstate Exclusive Agent. Unlike typical entrepreneurships, Allstate says it provides agents with essential tools and resources to help them get off to a great start, including: insurance product education, expertise from company sales consultants, customizable marketing and advertising materials, and performance incentives.

Agents will have the opportunity to sell the company's wide range of insurance and financial products, including auto, property and financial services, Allstate says. Agents also will have the opportunity to expand their business by opening multiple locations and watch its value grow with every sale without ever paying franchise or licensing fees.

Allstate currently has 215 agents in Indiana.

Additionally, the insurer says it intends to hire more than 150 licensed sales professionals through 2011.

"This is really a great time for us to attract people who are self-motivated, are goal- and success-oriented and who want to own their own business representing Allstate in Indiana," says David Kaehr, Allstate sales leader for Indiana. "We're working with outplacement services and through our own recruiters to find these professionals with financial or sales backgrounds.
