American Family Life Insurance Co. now is in production with FAST Insurance Components for new business processing and policy administration, according to FAST. The implementation was completed in eight months, leverages FAST’s services-oriented architecture and real-time integration and enabled the launch of a new life insurance product, FAST said.

“Our commitment to innovate is driven by our customers, which means having the systems, processes and people to address their changing needs and preferences,” said Jim Maastricht, AVP at American Family. “Creating a new technology ecosystem, and effectively implementing it using a more streamlined approach, is an important and exciting part of that effort.”
