Andesa Services, a provider of policy administration and support services for life insurance and annuity carriers and distributors, has added Silanis Technology’s e-SignLive service to its Integrated New Business Portal. Adding e-signatures to the cloud-based e-application creates straight-through processing of new business for life insurance and annuity carriers and producers.
The cloud-based offering will help distributors process new business applications in real time, rather than waiting several days or weeks for completed paperwork to arrive from the customer, Silanis said. The integration of e-signatures will keep the new business process 100 percent electronic, eliminating the need for the application to fall back to a manual signing process. Enforced data validation and workflow rules ensure all signatures and data are captured forcing in-good-order applications, reducing risk to the carrier.
With correct data captured in the application and automatically passed through, the underwriting process also is expedited, compressing the overall new business cycle for the carrier, Silanis said. And, by offering this service in the cloud, distributors are able to get up and running on the service quickly.
