Applied Systems has acquired Relay Software, which provides capabilities for insurers and brokers in its home country of Ireland.
Applied says the acquisition speaks to a company strategy around investing in the UK markets; it already has customers in Great Britain. It says Relay customers can expect "greater technical resources, deeper domain expertise and a broader product portfolio to support digital transformation and accelerated growth in the region."

“This acquisition provides new innovative offerings to the Relay customer base that will enable them to further automate business operations, access new markets, and provide a greater customer experience to drive growth and profitability," added Alastair Bell, managing director, Relay Software.
