Appulate Inc., a provider of submission management automation for the P&C industry, has launched Appulate 4.0, intended to enable submission automation and employ a much more intuitive, simpler user experience. Appulate says the release is the company’s largest to-date and was a project that took nearly 18 months to complete.
The Appulate technology is designed to consume ACORD forms that come from retail agency management systems and convert them to structured ACORD XML data. Appulate also provides a SaaS-based portal, allowing carriers and MGAs to receive submissions from their agents and brokers electronically.
Appulate adds that it now offers a rating and rules-based qualification engine, which automates underwriting of risks and quote creation. For retail agents and wholesale brokers, Appulate has extended its Single Entry Multiple Carrier Interface (SEMCI) tools to support various commercial P&C lines, including BOP, GL, property, commercial auto and workers' compensation.
