Capital Insurance Group (CIG) launched CIG Mobile personal auto policyholders a couple weeks ago, and according to Decision Research Corp. (DRC), a rating and policy processing solution provider to the P&C industry, the CIG app uses DRC’s iPhone and Android mobile app software for GameChanger. DRC’s iPhone and Android app is designed to integrate CIG with its legacy policy administration system to launch CIG Mobile.
DRC says that the CIG mobile app includes features to view vehicle coverage, display Auto ID Cards, and request roadside assistance using CIG’s AutoCard 100 service. Features also allow users to submit a First Notice of Loss (FNOL), including uploading photos, statements and other claims information; and track the status of a claim and click to call a policyholder’s independent CIG insurance advisor.
