Companies Join Neptuny Business Partner Program

An enterprise production performance management solution provider and a performance management and the capacity planning consulting firm have joined the Neptuny Business Partner Program. Enteros and Xen Optimization Group joined the program, which supports partners in reselling their solutions and providing their consulting and support services on Caplan, Neptuny’s capacity planning solution. The solution is designed to enable customers to safely optimize, rationalize and consolidate data centers.

“Enteros’ comprehensive solutions are relied upon by IT executives, operations, business management and DBAs to identify, diagnose and resolve performance issues across platforms, computing architectures applications and clouds,” says Ron Warshawsky CTO of Enteros. “We are looking forward to working with Neptuny—bringing the strength of Neptuny’s capacity planning coupled with our Production Performance Management solution creating an unpredicted synergy in the marketplace. Enteros also enables use of hybrid cloud environments for ‘behind the firewall’ and ‘out of firewall’ load testing. Enteros’ load testing platform integration with Amazon’s EC2 Cloud, RackSpace and other cloud providers enables the creation of virtual private labs, the ability to automatically provisions resources and execute complex load tests, and as a result eliminates the need for significant investment to perform enterprise-grade load testing.”

Xen Optimization Group decided to join the Neptuny Business Partner Program because of an increasing need for software tools to accelerate the move to virtualization through implementation of proactive capacity planning and performance optimization, says Steve Joyce, CTO at Xen Optimization Group.

“As a member of the Neptuny Business Partner Program, we will benefit from the recognition Neptuny has received as a Cool Vendor by analysts such as Gartner and the renewed focus on tools that help decrease costs in enterprises seeking efficiencies in the midst of the global financial crisis,” Joyce says.
