Connecture Creates Health Care Reform Forum

Connecture Inc., a health care industry provider of Web-based sales, service and process automation solutions, has created a new forum focused on health care reform. The forum will discuss reform requirements, milestone dates, product changes meeting federal regulations and state-based exchanges. Connecture said it created the forum as a response to client requests at the May User Conference in Atlanta, who said they wanted more communication with other Connecture clients regarding health care reform changes.

“Everyone needs a little help in navigating through the regulations, and there is no reason our clients should go through it alone,” said Bob Barry, SVP of product and market strategy at Connecture. “Many are tasked with similar technology enhancements, and it makes sense to provide a means for them to ask questions of one another. We are very happy to provide this value-added service right now.”

Along with the forum that was rolled out at the July User Web Meeting, Connecture said it has also expanded its Health Reform Team, which researches health care reform and the impact on the company, developed a summary of the 2010 health care changes in the Patient’s Bill of Rights and included the requirements into the Connecture InsureConnect product roadmap.
