“In working with edge IPK as a consultant I was impressed with not just the product and technology, but in the quality of the people and the company. My career choices have always been driven by finding something I can believe in and in helping the industry find new and better ways of managing the business,” said Corman. “In today’s insurance industry, the definition of 'speed to market' is changing. It is no longer about just about getting the insurance product to the Web; it is also about simultaneously delivering the product to multiple distribution channels while providing an optimal user experience for each. These capabilities will soon become an insurer’s competitive differentiators, and edge IPK is uniquely positioned with the right solution at the right time to help insurers set themselves apart.”
Prior to joining edge IPK, Corman was most recently the founder of Corman Consulting where she worked with software companies in evaluating and opening new markets. She also spent seven years with Duck Creek Technologies where she was SVP of business development, sales and marketing, and was instrumental in driving the company’s impressive growth.
Earlier in her career, Corman served as SVP of technology solutions at Forsurance, an Internet-based insurance exchange sponsored by Chubb Insurance Co. and Goldman Sachs. She began her career designing software applications, reengineering workflows and systems, developing Internet solutions and managing a variety of IT functions for insurance carriers.
“I am delighted to announce Wendy’s appointment as the head of our North American operations,” said Williams. “In working with Wendy as a consultant I’ve had the opportunity to witness firsthand her drive and commitment to success. The breadth and depth of her skills and knowledge and her commitment to customer relationships is exactly what we need to lead our expansion and growth efforts. I look forward to her contribution, leadership and high energy.”
