Crump, iPipeline Strike Deal

Just a week after receiving a “significant” investment from venture capital firm Technology Crossover Ventures, iPipeline has been selected by Crump Life Insurance Services to automate and streamline business processes for Crump’s associates, producers and 200,000 agents.

Specifically, Crump has opted for iPipeline’s CRM for Insurance, Forms (content) and iGO e-app software solutions.

“Having Crump as a strategic distribution customer on our platform is an enormous accomplishment for iPipeline,” says Tim Wallace, CEO, iPipeline. “Our strategy for the future is to deliver the ‘next-generation’ of an integrated agent platform—one that dramatically improves the marketing, selling, and processing of insurance.  We are pleased to be one of Crump’s technology partners and highly value the company’s use of our platform.”

Seeking to optimize the productivity of associates and producers, Crump is turning to automation and straight-through processing.

“Crump is proactively pursuing the use of time- and cost-saving solutions such as iPipeline’s forms repository and iGO e-App to support the straight-through processing initiatives of our carriers,” says Ron Alexander, SVP, Growth Initiatives, Crump.

“The CRM solution in the Distribution Suite enables our brokerage managers across the United States to manage leads, opportunities, policy status and other business activities via a custom dashboard,” says Michael Martini, EVP, Institutional Distribution, Crump, adding that CRM for Insurance will exchange information with the company’s agency management system “around the clock.”
