edge IPK to Join IBM Framework

edge IPK will join IBM’s Insurance Industry Framework. As a component of the IBM Insurance Framework, edge IPK’s flagship product, edgeConnect user experience platform, joins a list of insurance solutions selected to provide the building blocks to help insurers to transform their business processes, while reducing IT investment costs and risk through the use of industry best practices and innovative IT solutions. The IBM Framework is designed to provide a robust and scalable infrastructure in order to provide flexibility, reduced costs and the rapid deployment and integration of low-risk insurance solutions.

In addition, edge IPK, an IBM partner for four years, has expanded its Advanced Business Partner status with IBM with three new accreditations. IBM awards Advanced Partner status to organizations that “demonstrate the required skill and successful implementations of IBM technology,” edge IPK says.

The three new accreditations that edge IPK has earned are Ready for DB2, Ready for Linux and Ready for Power Systems Software.

“Our relationship with IBM has only grown stronger over the years, with our inclusion in the IBM Insurance Framework and new accreditations demonstrating our continued commitment to IBM technology and our status as a trusted and proven partner,” says Mike Williams, CEO, edge IPK. “Through our close work with IBM, we are able to offer our customers a deep level of understanding and expert support, along with the added assurance that our products have been given the stamp of approval from IBM.”
