Germania Insurance, a Texas P&C insurer, will implement Guidewire InsuranceSuite as its new platform for the management of underwriting, policy administration, claims, billing, rating, client data, and reinsurance. Germania also has selected Guidewire InfoCenter and DataHub for its data management and business intelligence solutions.
Germania selected InsuranceSuite as part of an organization-wide transformation initiative, according to the two companies. Updating its existing systems will help Germania become more competitive, improve the overall experience for agents, employees, and policyholders, and more effectively meet its customers’ needs, according to Germania. In addition, the software will help Germania increase its speed-to-market of new product development and offerings and reduce technology risks and associated costs, the P&C insurer said.
Germania will deploy InsuranceSuite in three phases. Guidewire ClaimCenter and InfoCenter will be implemented first, followed by BillingCenter and PolicyCenter. In the final phase, Germania will implement the solutions in its Commercial General Liability and Business Auto Lines.
