HP Releases Agent Enablement Solution

HP has released Agent Enablement, a solution designed to allow insurance agents and brokers to access real-time policyholder information and create personalized, meaningful and targeted customer communications.

Agent Enablement allows agents and brokers to enhance customer interactions by integrating with existing data systems, including enterprise content management and customer relationship management systems, the company says.

HP adds that the solution enables agents and brokers to increase face-to-face meeting time with customers, and provide context-aware experiences driven by up-to-date regulatory data and customer information. Insurance companies can create personalized quotes and proposals, generate policies and send policyholder notifications via customer-preferred channels including print, Web, e-mail and SMS (text messaging).

Additionally, agent Enablement automates document processes by pre-populating documents with up-to-date data, thereby eliminating the need for agents to collect, verify and rekey customer information, while streamlining automated connections with existing workflows.

As a result, insurance companies can increase straight-through processing, reduce policy cycle time for specialty and commercial insurance, and decrease the amount of time agents spend on administrative tasks, HP says. Customer communications are continuously impacted by ever-changing regulations, customer preferences and technological advancements.

Agent Enablement is based on the HP Exstream software platform and is part of the HP Customer Communication Solutions Portfolio.
