, an innovative online community targeting members 65 and older, was launched by Humana Inc. to support an ever-growing online population. The “virtual neighborhood” will provide Medicare Advantage and Medicare Advantage Part D members with an easy-to-navigate website to enhance access to information on various health and wellness topics and to information about Humana’s Member Assistance Program, Humana said.

“With HumanaVille, our goal is to provide an interactive and entertaining way to make health-related information more accessible and more intuitive to Humana’s Medicare members,” said Pat Gotcher, president of the site developer, LifeSynch, Humana’s wholly owned behavioral health and behavior-change subsidiary that administers Humana’s Member Assistance Program. “In the process, we also hope to create a sense of community among members.”
