Jackson Names New CIO & CAO

Jackson National Life Insurance Co. announced two senior executive level promotions within its operations and IT units. Jackson promoted Laura Prieskorn to SVP and CAO, and J. Mark Clark to SVP and CIO.

In her new role, Prieskorn will oversee all departments and functions within Jackson’s operational areas, including new business, policyholder services, broker management, claims, and the telephone service center, as well as the company’s relationship management and business analytics groups. Previously, she served as VP of the company’s customer service center. During her 21 years with Jackson, Prieskorn has held positions in virtually every department within operations.

As CIO, Clark will be responsible for all of the systems and programming departments that support Jackson and its subsidiaries. He joined Jackson in 1996 from Cooperative Technologies, a firm he co-founded. Previously, he was IT applications system manager of actuarial systems at SunAmerica. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and information technology industries.
