Kalido Boosts Products for Better Data Governance

Kalido announced enhancements designed to improve data governance to its information engine and master data management (MDM) tool.

The new releases include more robust data matching capabilities than previous iterations, according to a company statement.

Creating a strong foundation for data governance requires the ability to manage the massive growth of data as well as its inherent complexities, Bill Hewitt, president and CEO of Kalido was quoted to say. “These new features and enhancements deliver on both, providing the ability for the IT department to play a more active role in supporting agile business initiatives.”

Kalido MDM can define, test, save and execute data matching and mapping rules without code, according to the company release. Its matching engine also seeks out matches between attributes, including incomplete or partial similarity.

Additional enhancements allow active participation from data experts working to integrate data, a high performance transaction loader, finer granularity for change logs, and greater control over temporary and time-based changes, the release said.
