Liberty Mutual Agency Markets Honored for Agency Interface

Boston - Liberty Mutual Agency Markets, a strategic business unit of Liberty Mutual Group comprising P&C and specialty insurance carriers that distribute their products and services primarily through independent agents and brokers, has been recognized by insurance technology company Applied Systems Inc. with the 2007 Interface Partnership Award.

 

The award, which also was presented to Agency Markets' newest regional company, Fairfield, Ohio-based Ohio Casualty, recognizes the regional companies as being among the best at advancing agency-company interface through the use of real-time rating and servicing transactions and download.

 

Peggy Scott, assistant VP, Agency Markets, and manager, Agency Services, accepted Agency Markets' Interface Partnership Award during TENCon, the Technology, Education & Networking Conference hosted by Uniersity Park, Ill.-based ASCnet Inc., the Applied Systems Client Network in September.

 

"We are honored to be recognized by Applied Systems for our real-time accomplishments to date," said Scott. "This award reflects the commitment we've made to further enhance our agents' real-time capabilities. We are now working on making claims download using Applied Systems version 9.0 available to our agencies in early 2008."

 

Agency Markets' regional companies currently use Applied Systems for the following real-time and batch transactions; personal lines new business upload and Web site bridge, personal and commercial lines download, commission data download, first notice of loss, personal and commercial lines quoting, claims and billing inquiries, alerts, commercial policy inquiry, commercial loss runs inquiry and company Web site sign-on.

 

Ohio Casualty was also recognized for its use of the following real-time and batch transactions; personal lines new business quoting and issuance using Applied Systems' WebEdits utility for round-trip data transmission, Web site bridge, personal and commercial lines download, direct bill commission download, first notice of loss, commercial lines quoting, claims and billing inquiries, personal and commercial policy inquiry, personal and commercial loss run inquiry, and company Web site sign-on.
