Liberty Mutual Names New President

Boston-based Liberty Mutual Group announced that David Long has been named president, effective July 1, 2010. Long, who has been with Liberty Mutual for 25 years, is currently EVP, Liberty Mutual Group and president of Liberty International. He will continue to lead Liberty Mutual's International business unit while assuming responsibilities as president of Liberty Mutual Group.

"David has excelled on this team while positioning our international business unit and company for continued profitable growth. David has been successful throughout a career of important positions and increasing responsibilities.
